How is product support handled?
Product support is community-driven. Log in to the forum, post your question, and a Tron Buildings team member (or another operator) will respond.
What does the Agent actually run on?
Every Agent is a configured Apple Mac mini (or Mac Studio for Enterprise tiers) running the full Tron Buildings software suite. You don't supply your own hardware — we ship the device pre-loaded and ready to install.
How does the local AI work without cloud API costs?
Tron Buildings runs its agents locally on the Apple Silicon chip in your Mac mini. No tokens, no per-call charges, no data leaving the building unless you opt in via the External Agents integration.
Can I connect Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini?
Yes. The Agent exposes an MCP server that any modern AI assistant can connect to. You can also use our OpenClaw deployment for fully open-source AI workflows. See the External Agents section on the home page.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The Agent keeps running. Local AI, BACnet, Modbus, and Haystack stay live on the LAN. Operators on the building's network can still log in via the local escape hatch.
How do I get a refund or cancel?
Email us at ben@tronbuildings.com and we'll handle it promptly. There's no contract lock-in — you own the hardware.
